Ever wonder what professional clowns do after “leaving the big show”? Meet Laura Lou Pape-McCarthy, with 3 ½ years experience traveling with RBBB Circus and 1 year working with the Pickle Family Circus in the late 80’s/early 90’s. She has formal training and experience performing stilt walking, acrobatics, low trapeze, physical theater and clowning! 

Before the pandemic Laura Lou was following a passion for movement and fitness by leading group exercise classes for elders in the community and in Retirement facilities in the Greater Portland area. During those years she followed a passion for being joyfully present by including Laughter Yoga© principles and exercises in all programs = mindful breathing, pain free movement and connecting with our inner joy.  

Now online, offering virtual exercise classes and wellness programs, Laura Lou is looking forward to helping individuals in their journey through life with a focus on mindful movement and joyful expression. She will bring energy and knowledge to make your experience life-changing.
